The students of S.G. Public Sr Sec School secured third place in the six-day Under-17 Basketball Tournament held at St. Xavier World School, Morta, Ghaziabad. Organized by the District Basketball Association of Ghaziabad, the competition ran from May 20 to May 25. S.G. Public Senior Secondary School, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad, performed excellently, achieving third place in the girls' category. The esteemed guests and the principal of the host school awarded the students with medals and trophies. The director of S.G. Public Sr Sec School, Mr. Raja Raman Khanna, congratulated the students and wished them a bright future.
S G Public Sr Sec School participated in the 2nd NCR Chess Championship, held on February 11, 2024, at St, Teresa School Kaushambi Ghaziabad, showcasing strategic prowess and determination.
Our students secured the gold medals in the various age categories, demonstrating mastery across various aspects of the game, including tactics, openings, and endgames.
Despite fierce competition with over 35 NCR schools, consistent performance led to achieving the prestigious title of the overall second runner-up of the championship trophy.
